Infertility Clinic

It is every parent's dream to have a child of their own, but due to various circumstances some parents are prevented from making their dream a reality. Some women are unable to carry pregnancy completely. Whereas some women do not get conceived at all, some women might face a miscarriage due to some reason. There are many reasons for why a woman cannot bear a child; one main reason to this is the parents' genetics. Some genetic factors such as the Robertsonian translocation in either of the parents can cause spontaneous abortions. Health issues too play a vital role in conception, diseases such as diabetes mellitus, adrenal disease can cause great damage. Another major problem which causes miscarriages are the toxic materials found in the environment. Inhaling Organic solvents, cigarette smoke and glues can cause great damage to the embryo and thus eventually end in a miscarriage. However, an infertility clinic is a place where troubled parents who cannot conceive a baby come for help and most of the time the skilled doctors in these infertility clinics are able to come up with a solution.

There are many techniques which the doctors in these infertility clinic's use on the patients to make them bear a baby. One of the most common techniques is called intracervical insemination; it is when semen, which is usually frozen, is injected into the cervix of the woman. This is a method use when the male has very low sperm count. However the most famous technique used at the infertility clinics is the In Vitro Fertilization. It is a process where there is hormonal control of the ovulatory process, an ovum is removed from the woman's and a man's sperm is allowed to meet the ova in a fluid medium. Then the fertilized egg is placed on the patient's uterus, hoping for successful pregnancy. The first successful baby using the In Vitro Fertilization method was Louise Brown, who was born in 1978.

However these infertility clinics face a lot of criticism from various groups of people. The strong religious groups play a major role in protesting against the existence of infertility clinics. They believe that the doctors in the infertility clinics are performing acts which are against god's will. There are also some other groups that say that creating babies using scientific methods at infertility clinics goes against basic human ethics, where children born in such a way are ridiculed by others during their life time. Also there are most of these techniques can be quite expensive; therefore only the people who could afford such a treatment could go through with the process. Hence maintaining an infertility clinic is not easy; as it is faced with much criticism and disapproval by a significant amount of people.
